My creatures are alive! Quest Night opened this weekend to a pleased and delighted attendance of LARPers, Gamers, EscapeTheRoom fanatics, and more. Running for two more weekends in “Ghost Town” Lorraine/Austin, TX. I added a new section to my website, “Testimonials”, aka pulling some of my favorite client and coworker statements from my LinkedIn “Recommendations” section, and sharing under my “About Me” section. Hooray for updates!

Months of rehearsals finally come to an end as the Chorus Austin Symphonic Chorus performs Haydn’s masterpiece, the “Stabat Mater”, complete with symphony, our 150 person chorus, and soloists!  Join us this weekend, April 21 and 22nd. Tickets available online and at the door. In October, 2015 we released the very first Materia Collective collaborative album, “MATERIA: Final Fantasy VII Remixed”. According to my MC artist bio page I have since collaborated on over 16 albums with the label, many of which are over 3 discs in size. Wowza! It has been an amazing experience so far working with such amazingly talented people, singers, lyricists, pianists, brass, orchestrators… I can’t even list all the skillsets that make up our ‘Collective”! I am exhausted, but with a smile on my face, from the whirlwind of this past week at #GDC2018, Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. We successfully ran our 2nd annual IGDA Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Realities (VAMR) SIG Roundtable (co-hosted w Pete Moss), I moderated the G.A.N.G. Sound Design Demo Derby, and co-MC’d the Game Audio Network Guild Audio Award with the fantastic Becky Allen of Popcap!

Quest Night runs April 13th through April 28th onsite at Ghost Town, TX. Proceeds go to charity.

Fun time yesterday checking out SXSW Gaming for the first time. Now to catch up on all todos and tasks and rehearsals, auditions, and beyond before heading to GDC in San Fran Tues morning! Excited to announce I will be singing in Gilbert and Sullivan Austin‘s June production of “Ruddigore”. I have always wanted to do this show, but since it is usually performed in Halloween season, each time there was a chance to audition for the Pittsburgh Savoyards I was busy working on my show Evenings in Quarantine: The Zombie Opera. Well now… it is time! This Gilbert & Sullivan comic opera is super funny and spook-tacular! We had our first full cast read thru/sing thru last night and you are in for a treat:)

I am super excited to have been cast as the voice of the “Eccentric, sarcastic evil bot” named “Clank” in this upcoming sci-fi audio drama series, “The New Adventures of Red Riding Hood” aka Red Riding Hood… innnnn Spaaaace! Also major kudoz to my fellow Dracula Radio Play associates Sean Lenhart and Nathaniel Chambers for their awarded roles as well!  More info as it becomes available:)
