Fun time yesterday checking out SXSW Gaming for the first time. Now to catch up on all todos and tasks and rehearsals, auditions, and beyond before heading to GDC in San Fran Tues morning! I’m helping with the VAMR SIG #VR #AR and #MR Roundtable, moderating the Sound Design Demo Derby, and co-hosting the Game Audio Network Guild Awards with the fabulous Becky Allen. Excited to announce I will be singing in Gilbert and Sullivan Austin‘s June production of “Ruddigore”. I have always wanted to do this show, but since it is usually performed in Halloween season, each time there was a chance to audition for the Pittsburgh Savoyards I was busy working on my show Evenings in Quarantine: The Zombie Opera. Well now… it is time! This Gilbert & Sullivan comic opera is super funny and spook-tacular! We had our first full cast read thru/sing thru last night and you are in for a treat:)

I am super excited to have been cast as the voice of the “Eccentric, sarcastic evil bot” named “Clank” in this upcoming sci-fi audio drama series, “The New Adventures of Red Riding Hood” aka Red Riding Hood… innnnn Spaaaace! Also major kudoz to my fellow Dracula Radio Play associates Sean Lenhart and Nathaniel Chambers for their awarded roles as well!  More info as it becomes available:)

On November 6th, 2017, we aired the final episode of our radioplay series, Cryptic Canticles presents The Dracula Radioplay Experience our retelling and reimagining of the Bram Stoker classic novel. In December, our creative team (Liz Rishel, Gwen Schmidt, Judy Kirby, Sean Lenhart and I) gathered to hold our final behind-the-scenes episode, aka ‘Bram’s Lounge’, to chat about the production process and reveal upcoming plans for our team including a live performance of the spooky operetta Menotti’s “The Medium”, in which I will be singing the role of  ‘Monica’! #dracularadioplay #vo #opera #menotti
