Happy to have been a part of the new Earthbound documentary, now watchable at Earthboundusa.com (I was one of the myriad of musicians involved in the film’s soundtrack). “This independent documentary, a decade in the making, presents the 20-year saga behind EarthBound: gaming’s weirdest cult classic. Last month the feature-length documentary “EarthBound, USA” was finally released, and the response has been incredible. So very proud of Jazzy and the whole production team for pushing this film to the finish line — it was well worth the wait.
Composing this soundtrack was a whole new, creative and emotional experience for me, and involving dozens of friends, fellow musicians, composers and icons of the VGM scene to perform on over 100 music cues was quite the task — but such a blast!
Huge thanks to Tony Dickinson for burning the midnight oil in co-producing, mixing, and also performing on much of this soundtrack — could not have done this without him!
