The beat em’ up game “Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues” is out on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and XBox, which I am proud to have worked on it as a dialogue editor via Randall Ryan/Hamsterball Studios. It was an honor contributing to the #KarateKid and #CobraKai universe and a total blast to work on. My inner child squee’d while working on dialogue and fight sessions by characters in the series, including Ralph Macchio (The Karate Kid, himself) and William Zabka (Sweep the leg, Johnny;)
And a fun bit of history, in 2007, William Zabka directed and starred in the music video “Sweep the Leg” by No More Kings, in which his character from Karate Kid wishes to redo the fight with Macchio.. and win… definately a precurser for things to come, ie Cobra Kai ten years later.
