Choral Kaleidoscope

Many thanks to my alma mater, Mary Pappert School of Music at Duquesne University, for the wonderful Choral Kaleidoscope workshop last weekend. Created to “celebrate the multi-faceted work of choral practitioners”, the whole day’s lineup of activities did not disappoint, with focuses on vocal health, posture and ensemble exercise, Dalcroze and solfege, and a conducting masterclass. Many helpful tips to transform my personal muppet-style into a more human way of conducting;)

Kudos to our three instructors, Dr. Caron Daley, Dr. David Frego, and Dr. Gregory Marchetti for their hard work and dedication..and… they kept the whole day fun:)  More information and class breakdown at Choral Kaleidoscope.
