I have just received some fantastic news! Our “Dracula Radio Play” , by the Cryptic Canticles, has been chosen as an Official Selection of HEAR Now: The Audio Arts and Fiction Festival, this June 7-10th in Kansas City, MO! Liz Rishel and I will be onsite on Friday afternoon, June 8th (time tbd) to play an excerpt of our audio drama based on Bram Stoker’s classic novel as part of the recorded listening sessions at the National Audio Theatre Festivals (NATF) Playhouse. Read more at the link….

I am delighted to be playing the role of “Monica” in Menotti’s spooky operetta, “The Medium”, performed with the Cryptic Canticles, our team that recently brought you The Dracula Radio Play Project in 2017. I first fell in love with the character of Monica, the daughter of the title character, in one of our earliest Cryptic Canticles productions, titled “Twitterpated” a recital of songs in love and madness. I have since wanted to perform the entire production, and giddy to have that chance Sun, Oct. 28th at the Glitter Box Theater, back in my hometown of Pittsburgh.

My creatures are alive! Quest Night opened this weekend to a pleased and delighted attendance of LARPers, Gamers, EscapeTheRoom fanatics, and more. Running for two more weekends in “Ghost Town” Lorraine/Austin, TX. I highly recommend checking out this awesome experience, and not just because I helped design some of the puppets and beasties you battle🙂 Proceeds benefit the base of operations, Scare For A Cure, and go to charity:) Tickets on sale now!

Months of rehearsals finally come to an end as the Chorus Austin Symphonic Chorus performs Haydn’s masterpiece, the “Stabat Mater”, complete with symphony, our 150 person chorus, and soloists!  Join us this weekend, April 21 and 22nd. Tickets available online and at the door. In October, 2015 we released the very first Materia Collective collaborative album, “MATERIA: Final Fantasy VII Remixed”. According to my MC artist bio page I have since collaborated on over 16 albums with the label, many of which are over 3 discs in size. Wowza! It has been an amazing experience so far working with such amazingly talented people, singers, lyricists, pianists, brass, orchestrators… I can’t even list all the skillsets that make up our ‘Collective”! I am exhausted, but with a smile on my face, from the whirlwind of this past week at #GDC2018, Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. We successfully ran our 2nd annual IGDA Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Realities (VAMR) SIG Roundtable (co-hosted w Pete Moss), I moderated the G.A.N.G. Sound Design Demo Derby, and co-MC’d the Game Audio Network Guild Audio Award with the fantastic Becky Allen of Popcap!
