Ahhh… our music video for “Final Fantasy VI – Aria de Mezzo Carattere“… Over a year later, and watching this once again brings tears to my eyes. Not only because this arrangement by Andrew Thompson turned out so beautifully, and Danielle York was haunting on horns, but it brings back memories… I recorded my singing video footage while visiting my in-laws for Thanksgiving in 2019, hiding away in their upstairs bathroom, in front of their lovely shower curtain. This was during the last trip we made to visit my husband’s family before lockdown/quarantine. So… I can tell exactly how long it has been since we saw them in person, as it was here… Thanksgiving week, 2019, thirteen months ago. Wowza.
Thank you again, Andrew, for having me on this recording, it turned out so beautiful. I look forward to the day we can all perform together again in public!
