Come to the A Holiday Mixtape from Panoramic Voices & The Invincible Czars this Thursday, 7pm, at the The Blanton Museum. Our show is super fun, lots of tunes you don’t normally hear in a holiday concert, John Lennon, Pat Benatar, Queen, and more… plus some fun twists on classics too. Plus, it is actually FREE admission at the museum all day! We are accompanied by the The Invincible Czars and have some special guests as well like Liz Cass!
“Panoramic Voices returns to the Blanton for the fifth time with our unique take on the holidays. This year features special guests Carrie Fussell (of Calliope Musicals), Taylor Muse (of Quiet Company), and Liz Cass (of LOLA Local Opera Local Artists and Armstrong Community Music School) all backed by Panoramic Voices’ full choir and genre-bending symphonic rockers, The Invincible Czars! This FREE concert features original arrangements by artistic director Brent Baldwin in the form of spirited holiday favorites, poignant anthems for those who find the holidays to be a more complicated time, and high-energy sing-a-longs. The show will also feature performances from young musicians trained through Kids In A New Groove.
Thursday, December 19th at 7:00PM, at The Blanton Museum of Art. FREE and open to the public!
The Blanton Museum of Art is located at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Paid parking is available in the Blanton/Brazos Garage on Brazos Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Parking is $4; bring your ticket with you to the front desk of the museum.”
